I'm TJ Jones, an avid reader who consistently reads 100 to 150+ books per year and has been doing so since 1968. Jack Vance isn't just my favorite writer in science fiction and fantasy—he ranks among my all-time favorite authors, period. I've read every one of his published works at least three times (many far more), and I'm convinced his baroque style, wry humor, vivid worlds, and unforgettable characters place him among the true giants of imaginative fiction.
